One Day In-house Workshop on “Methods and Techniques of Qualitative Research” 9th July, 2018
The one day workshop on ‘Methods and Techniques of Qualitative Research’ was conducted on 9th July 2018 by the Department of Psychology, Rajagiri Centre for Behavioural Sciences and Research, Rajagiri College of Social Sciences. The objectives of the workshop were to provide an overview of qualitative research design, details about various steps in planning studies using qualitative methods and to understand the techniques and analysis in qualitative methods which students would able to apply for different types of research questions. The resource person for the workshop was Dr. Balan Rathakrishnan, Associate Professor, University Malaysia Sabah, Kota Kinabalu. Participants were constrained from students of MSc Psychology and MPhil Social Work. The program was started with the inauguration by lighting the lamp by Fr. Dr. Varghese K. Varghese, Dean, Rajagiri Centre for Behavioural Sciences and Research, and the workshop coordinator of the event, Mr. Ashfak Ahamed addressed the gathering.
Distinguished Lecture Series (2017-2018 batch)
A series of Lectures from Professors from various Universities from India and outside are organized for the students of RCBSR. The lectures were based on Rorschach inkblot test, leadership and scope in higher education.
Workshop on Neuropsychological testing and PEBL
The Rajagiri Centre for Behavioral Science and research conducted a two days inhouse workshop on Neuropsychological Testing and Psychology Experiment Building Language (PEBL) for the faculty members and students of Under Graduate and Post Graduate Psychology programs on 28th and 29th of August 2017.
Workshop on street play and Psychodrama
The Rajagiri Centre for Behavioral Science and Research conducted a one day workshop on Street Play and Psychodrama for the students of Under Graduate and Post Graduate Psychology Programs on 28th August 2017. The workshop started by invoking the blessing of the almighty followed by the welcome speach by Fr. Dr Vargheses K Varghese, Dean, RCBSR. Dr. Joseph I Injodey, Executive Director, RCSS, inaugurated the workshop The resource person for the workshop was Dr. Sudish N T, Asst Professor, The Department of Psychology, Christ University, Bangalore.
Inhouse Seminar on Psychology of Gambling, Alcohol Addiction and Drug Addiction
||In commemoration of World Mental Health Day (October 10th, 2016), an Inhouse Seminar on ‘Psychology Of Gambling, Alcohol Addiction and Drug Addiction’ was conducted. Dr. Sanju George, Psychiatrist, Rajagiri Hospital was the chief resource person who spoke about the Psychology of Gambling addiction. Prof. Annie Sebastian, spoke about Psychology of Alcohol and Drug Addiction.|
SPARK programs are arranged at the advent of the Course to enable the students toward better competition and Leadership. Lecture sessions and Activity sets are introduced to the students by eminent speakers efficient for Corporate Training.

A series of Lectures from Distinguished Professors from different Foreign Universities are organized for the students of RCBSR. This enables the students to combine knowledge and practice of Psychology across culture and country.
